8Pin Auxiliary Relay Connection | 220Vac Auxiliary Relay Hold Unhold With Push Button

8Pin Auxiliary Relay Connection | 220Vac Auxiliary Relay Hold Unhold With Push Button

After Dave's last video we've received a metric ton of comments asking about the method and techniques for de-pinning connectors. Not to leave you guys hanging we quickly gathered a whole bunch of the most commonly used aftermarket connectors, and threw them at Dave yelling: “Go on then, de-pin these, and look sexy while doing it!” As Dave always rose up to the challenge :)

This video will show you how to make a latching circuit or an on/off switch with a contactor or relay. With a latching circuit, the contacts will remain on once input power is applied and will remain on until the connection is broken. For this set up you will need a contactor, auxiliary contact, normally open pushbutton switch and a normally closed pushbutton switch. A relay can be used in place of a contactor as long as there is an auxiliary contact that will close when the coil is actuated.
