Self-retention of a Contactor | Run and Stop Circuit

In this new video we will analyze the connections in the control and power system in an electrical contactor, we will also see its connection diagram and perform a self-retention.

We will connect thermomagnetic switches, momentary pushbuttons with normally open and normally closed contact blocks, selectors or toggle switches among other electrical elements and components.

Do not forget to always review the technical sheets and safety, installation and maintenance data sheets provided by each supplier of electrical components, remember that you work with dangerous voltages, which is why we must be very careful when connecting these electrical devices.

Start and stop circuit. If it is going to be used to control a motor, it is important to add a thermal relay (RT), the NC contact of the RT must be put in series with the stop button. It is important to respect the color code on the conductors, I attach it, see page 3
