In this video, I'll show you how to build a mini automatic switching UPS for modems and routers.
The main feature of this system is that it guarantees maximum performance and safety with a minimum number of components. No relays are used in the circuit, allowing for seamless and rapid switching between mains power and battery.
LED Indicators:
When the green LED is lit, mains power is active and the modem is operating directly from the mains. At the same time, the TP4056 module is safely charging the 18650 lithium battery.
The red LED indicates that the system is operating on battery power.
System Components and Operating Principle:
The TP4056 charging module ensures safe charging of the lithium battery and provides protection against over-discharge.
The LM7805 voltage regulator provides a stable 5V supply to the TP4056 and prevents voltage fluctuations from damaging the load module.
