DIY 400kv Taser - Powerful Stun Gun At Home
Hi, this is my first instructable on instructables, i know things similar to this taser are already made but i wanted to make my own version because i think the high voltage sparks look so cool!
ı know, there is probably a lot of grammatical mistakes because english isn't my native language, sorry for that.
SAFETY FIRST
If you'd like to try this at home please be very careful or get help from someone who knows very good about electronics, also DO NOT use this device on any living being or any electronic device, using it on a living being may cause serious pain which will make you jump out of the chair and run away like crazy it actually hurts!!!! Also using on a device like an iPad or a laptop may result in data corruption and even it may start a fire because some phone batteries are explosive. I will not be held responsible for anything that happens to you.
For this project you will need:
1x High voltage generator module (can be purchased for cheap on aliexpress or ebay its around 5 dollars)
2x screws or nails (for the electrodes, you can also use a mains plug, I used a mains plug in my second build)
1x pushbutton
1x 2 AA battery holder (any kind of 3v power supply works)
1x project box (can be purchased for cheap online)
Get the Tools Needed
You will only need very basic tools that can be found in any house,
-Soldering iron and solder
-Wire cutters or pliers
- Blu-tack or hot glue (for holding the components in place)
- A drill or a rotary tool (for making holes in the enclosure)
While wiring it up, make sure you didn't mess up the polarity, even though it generates AC I don't know why but when I wired it the other way it didn't work for me.
Put the Circuit Into the Enclosure
And this is the final step, cut out the needed holes on the enclosure and mount everything in place as you like.
