Handmade Air Conditioner – Make a small air conditioner for your room!!
This is mini DIY Air Conditioner project & its very cool. However, after building, I found that I needed an average cooling capacity, But it came out much better than my expectations and I thought small air conditioner box was not enough for my requirements, the concept was exceptional.
I wanted to easily add extra ice. However, this instruction required ice to be added to the top of the box, which was a little restrictive for me because I had to periodically refill the air conditioner with ice. In this way, easy access to the ice compartment and the easy removal of water from it were added to my design goals. I expanded the original concept and developed the enhanced version. This air conditioner will allow me to continue working on my desk while I stay cool.
Materials Required :
Cardboard Box
Power Bank (optional)
5V DC Fan
Aluminum Foil
Scissors
Electrical Tape
Pen or Pencil (for marking)
Glue
Super Glue
Note:
- be careful with super glue it sticks very fast.
Now make hole, simply put fan over the one side of cardboard and mark a circle, thereafter cut the circle and push it inside and take out the cut piece.
Now take out any unused USB cable this is my unused cable, Cut the smaller side of usb and remove rest.
Now securing connections between Dc Fan and USB cable with Electrical tape, after making connection plug in USB in power bank to ensure connection is working effectively.
Now Cut the aluminum foil in square shape, I use cardboard to make precise incisions, after manufacturing 5 square pieces of form to add glue to join them all one after the other. At the end remove the foil from hole.
Now add super glue in DC Fan at all four corners.
Now making vents, I'm using here a dongle creating a vents by making precise cuts.
Now add ice cubes inside a cardboard and put a bowl with ice into the cardboard and close the top with an electric tape
This was easy one of my favorite projects that I have worked for a while and although this is huge instructible, it's a fairly easy project to complete and I really recommend giving it a shot.
