The first step is to carefully open the LED lamp using a utility knife to access the interior and identify the faulty LED. After that we can move on to the next step.
To check if the contact is working, we need a regular copper wire. This is important because poor contact can be one of the reasons for the failure of the LED lamp. We need to carefully clean the non-working LED down to the metal surface.
Now comes the fun part. Pencil lead contains graphite, a material that conducts electricity. Graphite, being a semiconductor, is capable of transmitting electric current through its structure. We can use this property to restore the operation of the LED lamp.
Take some graphite from the pencil lead and carefully apply it to the tape. Then apply this graphite tape to the terminal of the LED that is not working. The graphite will conduct electricity and restore the connection, allowing the LED to work again.
