SUPER SPEED!! Micro Electric Jet

 SUPER SPEED!! Micro Electric Jet

Im slicing the STL file in Cura I use the setting “touching build plate” option in the support settings, which leaves most of the internal parts of the rotor and stator free from support structures. 25% infill. 30mm/s print speed and 0.15mm layer height.

Upon several viewers' request, I have created a new improved version of the DIY 3-phase electric jet motor with better seal in between the rotor/stator.

Plasma Jet Engines have been under development for some time now, but recently there have been some breakthroughs that should give all proponents of this technology some hope! Why are Plasma Jets such a big deal? Are they really pure electric with zero emissions? How close are we to one day flying on a jetliner with a Plasma Engine? That's what we thought we'd talk about today on Two Bit da Vinci!
