How To Make Remote Controller Light. 4017 IC Project. Best Science Project.

Today I am going to make LED Chaser circuit using CD4017 IC and LM555 IC.In previous I made LED Chaser using CD4017 IC and RGB LED.

Parts required -

(1.) LED Chaser circuit of RGB LED.

(2.) IC - LM555 x1

(3.) Resistor - 22K x1

(4.) Capacitor - 4.7uf x1

(5.) Battery

(6.) Battery clipper

(7.) Connecting wires

(8.) Potentiometer - 50K x1

Firstly we have to remove 1K and 470 ohm Resistors, RGB LED and Battery clipper from the circuit.

This is the circuit diagram of this project.

~ Connect all components according to this circuit diagram.

Solder pin-4 to pin-8 of LM555 IC using jumper wire as you can see in the picture.

Next Solder pin-2 to pin-6 of LM555 IC using jumper wire as you can see in the picture.

Solder 22K resistor between pin-7 and pin-8 of the IC.

Connect potentiometer to the circuit and

Connect +ve pin of 4.7uf electrolytic capacitor to pin-2 of LM555 IC and -ve of capacitor to pin-1 of LM555 IC.

Next solder 1K resistor between -ve of all LEDs to pin-1 of LM555 IC as you can see in the picture.

[1] Connect pin-8/13/15 of CD4017 to pin-1 of LM555 IC.

[2] Solder pin-16 of CD4017 to pin-4/8 of LM555 IC.

[3] Now solder a wire from pin-3 of LM555 IC to pin-14 of CD4017 IC as solder in the picture.

Solder battery clipper wire to the circuit.

Solder +ve wire of battery clipper to pin-8/4 of LM555 IC and

solder -ve wire of battery clipper to pin-1 of LM555 IC.

Now circuit is completed so connect battery to the battery clipper.

Result: LEDs are glowing one by one.we can adjust the speed of Glowing LEDs with 50K ohm Potentiometer.
