Diy heat sensor circuit on breadboard using thermistor and Bc547 transistor. Easy to build!

In this tutorial, we will look at How to make "Heat Sensor Circuit using Thermistor" Step by Step completely

Simple heat sensor circuit designed to give alert sound when the temperature reaches the desired threshold, here we can adjust the temperature threshold level using Variable resistor RV1. This simple circuit is easy to construct and test.

This circuit utilizes NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor hence the Resistance value of this device decreases when the temperature rises.

when the heat is given to the ntc thermistor then the resistance of the thermistor starts drop and the thermistor starts Conduct current + Vcc to base and the led starts glowing the 1k resistance is used to make a pull down to base and emitter so the led will not glow with out heat......!

what is NTC Thermistor?

Thermistor is an electronic component used to calculate the temperature. This is a type of resistor whose resistance varies with change in temperature. ...If the thermistor is NTC type then it decreases the resistance as increase in temperature and PTC behavior is just opposite to the NTC. With an NTC thermistor, when the temperature increases, resistance decreases. ...A PTC thermistor works a little differently. When temperature increases, the resistance increases, and when temperature decreases, resistance decreases. This type of thermistor is generally used as a fuse
