According to faraday, when we rotate a wire inside a magnetic field, an electromotive force is generated in it. we can also call this force voltage.

     To generate electricity we have two mechanisms, one stator winding is set on the armature and the other stator winding is set on the stator itself.

   When we talk about small generators, the armature winding is always mounted on the rotor, but in a thermal power plant or a large station, the stator winding of a synchronous generator remains mounted on the stator, due to which heavy current and voltage can be easily collected.
