 I show You how to make 3 Transistors no IC running LED light chaser with SPEED controller. This circuit using 3 small NPN Transistors without using any IC (Integrated Circuit).

Component list:

- 3pcs NPN transistors; C/S9013 or BC547, You can use any other NPN transistor (but You have pay attention into EBC pin positions).

- 15 pcs or more 3v LED bulbs.

- 4 pcs Elco 100uF/16v.

- 4 pcs 4K7 Resistors.

- 3pcs 560 ohm resistors.

- 10K Potensiometer.

LED Chaser Circuit is a circuit in which the LEDs lights one by one for a period of time and the cycle repeats giving the running light appearance.


Here, I will show you three different ways to make a LED Chaser Circuit:

1. 4017 IC

2. 555 Timer IC

3. Only transistors

You can also control the speed of all three circuits by varying the resistance.
