 AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVER SWITCH FOR GENERATOR AND DELAY TIMER

The way the auto change for generator and timer on delay works is when it provides generator output, then when 1 phase suddenly turns on, the voltage of 1 phase will be delayed the same time as the timer on delay , after a few seconds it will supply to the output, then the generator contactor will be turned off, after that we will only have to turn off the generator manually.

An automatic transfer switch (ATS) automatically transfers electrical power from its primary source to a backup generator, when it detects a partial or complete failure of the primary source.

When a failure occurs in the main electrical system, the ATS calls upon the backup source, which here is a three-phase diesel generator, to operate the electrical equipment until electrical power is restored.

The ATS must be properly designed and properly wired to the primary and emergency power sources.
