on video Pneumatic Cylinder with Sensor and Relay / Reed Switch

In this video Explain Small Automation Electrical Connection:

Why use automation?

Usually, automation is employed to minimize labor or to substitute humans in the most mechanical or repetitive tasks. Automation is present in virtually all verticals and niches, although it's more prevalent in manufacturing, utilities, transportation, and security.

Magnetic field sensors for pneumatic cylinders have a wide range of applications in the automation, robotics and assembly markets. They are considered the primary solution for detecting cylinder position. Among the variety of sensors in Balluff’s expansive portfolio, are:

• Sensors with universal C- and T-slot body styles for universal mount on most brands of pneumatic cylinders

• Smart sensors with remote teach that allow you to set up to 8 switch points within a 60-millimeter range

• Miniature sensors for really short-stroke pneumatic cylinders or short pieces of automation, giving closed-loop feedback even on small movements inside automated equipment

This video shows 8 Pin Relay With 3 Timer Wiring Diagram. Timer works on the principle of electromagnetic force when the coil is energized it becomes magnetized in an 8 pin relay as shown here there are 2 common contacts 2 normally open contacts and 2 normally closed contacts relays control one electrical circuit by opening and closing contacts in another circuit.
