on video How to make a Clap Switch at home || Clap Switch

Step 1: Take All Components As Shown Below

Today I am going to make a circuit of clapping switch. when we will clap then LED will glow. This circuit is amazing. To make this circuit I will use LM555 IC and C945 transistor.

Step 2: Circuit Diagram

Connect all components according to the circuit diagram.

Step 3: Connect Pin-4 and Pin-8 of LM555 IC

Firstly we have to connect pins of LM555 IC using jumper wire.

connect pin-4 and pin-8 of LM555 IC as picture.

Step 4: Connect 10uf Capacitor

Next connect +ve pin of 10uf capacitor to pin-6 & pin-7 of the IC and

Connect -ve pin of 10uf capacitor to pin-1 of the IC as shown in the picture.

Step 5: Connect 100K resistor

Connect 100K resistor between pin-8 of IC and +ve pin of capacitor.

Step 6: Connect C945 Transistor

Next solder emmiter pin of transistor to pin-1 of LM555 IC and

Collector pin of transistor to pin-2 of LM555 IC as you can see in the picture.

Step 7: Connect 1K Resistor

Solder 1K resistor between pin-2 and pin-4 of the IC as shown in the picture.

Step 8: Connect 56K resistor

Now connect 56K ohm resistor between base pin of transistor and pin-4 of LM555 IC as solder in the picture.

Step 9: Connect Wires of LED

Solder +ve wire of LED to pin-3 of LM555 IC and

solder -ve pin of LED to pin-1 of the IC.

Step 10: Connect Battery Clipper Wire

Next connect +ve wire of battery clipper to pin-4 of the IC and

-ve wire to pin-1 of the IC as solder in the picture.

Step 11: Connect Microphone

Now we have to connect wires of microphone.

Solder +ve wire of microphone to base pin of transistor and

-ve wire of microphone to pin-1 of the IC.

Step 12: How to Use This Clapping Circuit

Connect the battery to the battery clipper and clap towards the microphone then we will observe that when we are clapping then the LED is glowing.

This type we can make clapping circuit using LM555 IC and C945 transistor.
