How to Install Single Phase 220V Panel with Grounding TNC-S
For the installation of the single-phase distribution board, the following components were used for each circuit:
✔ Shower outlet: 50A circuit breaker and 10 mm phase, neutral and earth cable;
✔ Kitchen outlets: 25A circuit breaker and 4 mm phase, neutral and earth cable;
✔ Bedroom and living room sockets: 20A circuit breaker and 2.5 mm phase, neutral and ground cable;
✔ Lighting: 10A circuit breaker and 1.5 mm phase and neutral cable.
According to item 6.3.5.2.9 of NBR-5410, the SPD can be installed with a conductor with a minimum section of 4mm.
According to figure 13 of NBR-5410 when the neutral conductor is grounded BEP (main equipotential bus) there is no need to install SPD for the neutral conductor.
