on video Low voltage disconnect LVD Protection module XH-M609 Full Tutorial for Simple Solar Setup

Instructions on how to set up the XH-M609/HCW-M635 over-discharge protection module. There are four setting values you can change in this module using the two buttons (+ left and - right).

The first setting is to calibrate the voltage. Use a voltage meter to check the voltage is the same on the battery and module. To adjust, long-click the +left button until the LED screen flashes. Then,  while the display is flashing, adjust the voltage with the two buttons (+ left and - right) to equal your battery's (voltmeter) value.

The units default on/off values are 12v (short +left click) and 2v (short -right click). This means the undervoltage value that the unit switches off the load is 12 volts. The unit switches the load on again when the voltage rises to 12 + 2 = 14 volts. To change these default values:

1. Change the undervoltage value by double-clicking the +left button until the dot (decimal point) on the LED screen flashes. Adjust up or down with the +left and -right buttons.

2. Next, change the module switch-on voltage by double-clicking the - right button. This value can be changed and is the voltage increase required for the unit to switch on the load.

Lastly, there is an adjustable time delay function whereby once the unit reaches the voltage value that switches the unit on, a delay can be set. To adjust this value, long click the -right button, then adjust that value up or down with both buttons. 0000 equals no time delay, 0005 is approximately a 30 second delay.
