I completed my first model of the Machines of the Titanic. There now are two working engines and the Low Presure Turbine including the Condensers for the middle propellor. Also the boilers, bunkers and catwalks were added. Not all the tubing for the condensers are in the model, to maintain visibility. I used all the tips in the comments on the earlyer video I put on should be "This kind of steam engine is called "triple expansion."
Steaming on through our series on steam boats, we finally get to the Titanic. Considered a pinnacle in engineering, this boat had some incredible power generation. Today, Brent will talk about what it took to move the behemoth through the sea.
