Goal: Connect an Intermot IAMD 3000 hydraulic motor to a Vickers MHT250 hydraulic pump.
Factors: This Intermot hydraulic motor has a male pilot with a female spline shaft input and the hydraulic pump has a male pilot with a male spline shaft output. Both the hydraulic motor shaft and hydraulic pump shaft are the same spline specifications. Customer just needed an adaptor plate designed compact as possible to connect the two together without losing shaft engagement.
How we did it: We designed this BSF Adaptor based on our existing design practices along with SolidWorks Premium we were able to perform a stress analysis to ensure that this design would not fail in the field.
