Despite the fact of high reliability of induction motors, the operating conditions may expose the machine into different fault conditions .

These faults may lead to machine shut down, thus causing industrial production losses.

To protect the motor the faults must be detected in the initial stage.

 Early detection enables the maintenance engineers to take the necessary corrective actions as quickly as possible.
